A father and kids. Victims of Typhoon Sendong’s flash floods in Cagayan de Oro. Pray for them. Pray for the other victims. Pray for the Philippines.

One time reblog about this.
How can you have a beautiful Christmas now. For the affected people I mean.
Why does this have to happen before Christmas?
Climate change, denuded forests, poor waterways whatever, who’s to blame? Might be none of the above.
I can’t sort my thoughts on this but I really, really want to point out the lack of care man is giving to his environment. To Nature. I fancy that a god (note, small ‘g’) is punishing us. Or nature is doing its ways to counterbalance the alterations man has ‘been making’.
Just some thoughts.
More than prayer, money will be important for this people. Physical support and help. Bayanihan. And perhaps, improving our ways how we deal with the environment. A man lives in his house. A house without walls or roof is as good as living naked.

:| Is it really going to be a happy Christmas after all?
